30 Day Meditation Trial
I know this is the beginning of a new journey for me and I want to share it with the rest of world. I am taking on meditation. I have started on the journey of self improvement just a little while ago, but I am really excited to learn more and more about myself.
One of the best ways to do it is to learn about yourself through meditation. I never know how to meditate properly until yesterday. Tonight I will start meditating and I will document my experiences for 30 days. So each day you will receive a post detailing my experiences with meditation and its effects.
I would love to receive comments and suggestions or questions of any sort and I will try answer them. If you are curious, I will explain how to meditate properly.
HOW TO MEDITATE
Preparation
For meditation you should choose a place that is quiet and sacred for you. It is important to meditate in the same location to become comfortable with it and fill the room with vibrations of your higher consciousness.
Once you have a place ready, you must prepare your body for this experience. The best way to do that is to sit on the ground with your spine straight, abs in, chest out and chin parallel to the floor. You should place your hands on your lap with one palm resting on the other. It is important to keep your knees below the level of your hips. If necessary use pillows to support yourself.
Once you have done that elevate your gaze 20 degrees above above level. Then inhale slowly as you tense up all of your muscles in your body and count to six. Hold it for the count of three. And exhale as you count until six releasing tensions from all of the muscles in your body. Make sure you breath out all of the air in your lungs completely. Then repeat the above exercise six to ten times.
Meditation
Once you have completed the above exercise, you can resume breathing normally and this time concentrate on the third eye by closing your eyes and looking upwards to the space between your eyebrows. Once you have done that, fill the your mind with prayer, which can be a request, an extension of gratitude, admiration or serve any other purpose you want. Once you have it your mind, you should keep praying silently or aloud for about ten minutes. As you do so, you must also listen for the response from your Superconcious mind. Once you come close to the end of meditation make sure you shit your attention from your third eye back to your physical body.
Trial
My experiment with meditation will start today and it is my promise to myself and you all to keep you updated with my experiences and progress in order to better understand this ancient technique. Once again, any questions or comments are always welcome.
Thank you for reading.
